Who we are

This policy covers our website and enquiries you send us. Data we handle while working on a client’s systems is covered by our agreement with that client.

What we collect

  • Enquiries. When you use the contact form, we receive your name, email address and message, and your company, phone number and budget range if you add them.
  • Emails and calls. When you email us or book a call, we receive your name, email address and anything you choose to share.
  • Technical data. When you visit the site, our hosting and network providers process your IP address, browser details and the pages requested, to deliver the site and keep it secure.
  • Analytics. We use Umami, hosted on our own server, to count page views and events such as a sent enquiry. Umami does not use cookies and does not store IP addresses.
  • Spam protection. The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile, which processes technical data such as your IP address and browser characteristics to check that a person is sending it.

Why we use it

  • To reply to your enquiry and discuss possible work, as a step you asked for before a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) and in our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries (Article 6(1)(f)).
  • To run and secure the website and keep spam out, in our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)).
  • To understand how the site is used overall, in our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)), using analytics that do not identify you.
  • To keep business and accounting records where the law requires it (Article 6(1)(c)).

We do not sell personal information or use it for advertising.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of service providers who process data for us under data processing terms:

  • Resend, which delivers contact form emails.
  • Microsoft, which provides our email and call booking.
  • Hetzner Online, which hosts the website in Germany.
  • Cloudflare, which provides DNS, content delivery, security and Turnstile.

Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries and related correspondence for as long as we need them to respond and follow up on a possible engagement. If we work together, we keep records for the periods required by Croatian accounting and tax law. Server logs are kept only briefly, for security.

Cookies

We do not use cookies for analytics or advertising, so there is no cookie banner. Cloudflare, which protects the site, may set strictly necessary cookies to identify malicious traffic.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your personal information, or ask us to correct, delete or restrict it. You can object to processing based on our legitimate interests and ask for your data in a portable format. Email [email protected] and we will reply within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency (AZOP) at azop.hr or to the supervisory authority where you live.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS, and access to enquiries is limited to the people who need it to reply. No online service is completely secure, so please don’t send passwords or other secrets through the contact form.
